The RIGOL DHO800 Series combines 12-bit vertical resolution with bandwidths up to 100 MHz, a maximum real-time sample rate of 1.25 GSa/s and up to 25 Mpts of memory. Its low-noise signal path and 4096 quantization levels help engineers observe small signal variations that may be difficult to distinguish with a conventional 8-bit oscilloscope.

A compact enclosure, USB-C power support and flexible placement options make the series suitable for electronics laboratories, teaching benches and field testing. The instrument can be positioned flat, tilted or vertically, while support for a rear universal mounting bracket helps preserve bench space.

Key Features

  • 12-bit vertical resolution: Provides 4096 quantization levels—16 times the number available from an 8-bit converter—for clearer analysis of small-amplitude signal details.
  • Up to 100 MHz bandwidth: Covers common embedded-system, electronics development, servicing and educational measurement tasks.
  • Up to four analog channels: Allows multiple circuit nodes and related signals to be observed simultaneously. A standard external trigger output is available on the dual-channel model.
  • 1.25 GSa/s maximum real-time sampling: Captures signal transitions with sufficient timing detail for general circuit debugging and waveform analysis.
  • Up to 25 Mpts memory depth: Retains more waveform detail across longer acquisitions, supporting closer inspection of intermittent events.
  • Up to 1,000,000 waveforms per second: UltraAcquire mode improves the probability of detecting rare glitches and abnormal signal behavior.
  • 500 μV/div to 10 V/div sensitivity: Supports measurements ranging from low-level signals to larger circuit voltages.
  • Waveform search and navigation: Helps users locate relevant events and signal anomalies within long waveform records.
  • 7-inch capacitive touchscreen: The 1024 × 600 display, 256-level intensity grading and Flex Knob provide direct waveform interaction and a clear view of signal activity.
  • USB, LAN and HDMI connectivity: Standard interfaces support peripheral connection, remote control and external display or presentation workflows.

Portable and Space-Saving Operation

The USB-C power input allows the DHO800 Series to operate from a compatible portable power source, supporting measurements away from a fixed laboratory bench. Its compact housing can also be used with a standard monitor stand or rear universal mounting bracket for installations where workspace is limited.

Applications

  • Small-signal and low-noise circuit measurement
  • Embedded electronics development and debugging
  • Laboratory research and general waveform analysis
  • Electronics teaching and practical training
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and on-site testing
  • Detection of intermittent glitches and waveform anomalies

Why Choose the DHO800 Series?

The DHO800 Series is suited to users who need higher vertical resolution without allocating the space required for a conventional bench oscilloscope. Its combination of 12-bit acquisition, deep memory, fast waveform capture, touchscreen operation and USB-C power provides a flexible platform for both stationary and mobile measurement work.

Model Selection Note

Bandwidth, analog channel count and certain connections vary by model. The series supports configurations with up to 100 MHz bandwidth and up to four analog channels; the standard external trigger output applies to the dual-channel model. Confirm the exact model configuration before ordering.
