The RIGOL RP1025D, RP1050D and RP1100D are powered high-voltage differential probes that convert high differential voltages into low-voltage signals suitable for oscilloscope display. They enable waveform measurement between two circuit points while providing high input impedance and common-mode rejection.
The three models cover bandwidths from DC–25MHz to DC–100MHz. Multiple attenuation settings support measurements ranging from lower-voltage control circuits to high-voltage inverter, motor-drive and power-conversion systems.
Model Differences & Selection
-
RP1025D – Lower-voltage power electronics: Provides DC–25MHz bandwidth with 20X, 50X and 200X attenuation. Its maximum differential input is 1400Vpp, 500Vrms or 500VDC. Select it for power supplies, mains-related measurements and converters that do not require the higher voltage capacity of the RP1050D or RP1100D.
-
RP1050D – High voltage with 50MHz bandwidth: Provides DC–50MHz bandwidth, 100X to 1000X attenuation and a maximum differential input of 7000Vpp, 2300Vrms or 2300VDC. It suits high-voltage inverters, industrial drives and power converters where voltage capacity is more important than 100MHz bandwidth.
-
RP1100D – High voltage with faster edge capture: Retains the 7000Vpp maximum differential input and 100X to 1000X attenuation of the RP1050D while increasing bandwidth to DC–100MHz. Choose it for faster switching devices, gate-drive analysis and high-frequency power-conversion waveforms.
The RP1050D and RP1100D provide the same principal voltage ranges. The purchasing decision between them is therefore based primarily on bandwidth: 50MHz for general high-voltage power testing or 100MHz for faster switching edges and shorter transient events.
Key Features

True differential measurement: Measures voltage between two circuit points without connecting either test lead directly to the oscilloscope ground.
-
Up to 7000Vpp differential input: Supports high-voltage measurements in industrial power-conversion and drive systems with the RP1050D and RP1100D.
-
Up to 100MHz bandwidth: The RP1100D captures faster switching transitions and transient behavior.
-
Selectable attenuation: Multiple ranges allow the probe output to be matched to the signal amplitude and oscilloscope input.
-
±2% accuracy: Provides consistent amplitude measurements under the specified operating conditions.
-
High input impedance: Reduces loading on high-voltage circuits and switching nodes.
-
Common-mode rejection above 50dB: Suppresses voltage common to both inputs at the specified test frequencies.

Attenuation and Oscilloscope Input
The marked attenuation ratios apply when the oscilloscope input impedance is set to 1MΩ. If the probe is connected to a 50Ω oscilloscope input, the effective attenuation ratio doubles. For example, a marked 200X setting operates as 400X with a 50Ω input.
Matching the oscilloscope probe setting to the effective attenuation ratio allows the displayed vertical scale to represent the actual differential voltage.
