The Linshang LS227 coating thickness gauge uses a 3.5-inch touchscreen main unit with interchangeable digital probes. Choose a probe for the substrate, coating thickness and available access space, then use the main unit to view results, calculate statistics and organize inspection records.
Probes are purchased separately. Measurement range, resolution and accuracy are determined by the connected probe; the main unit automatically recognizes its model. The LS227 supports coating inspection on ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic metal substrates with the appropriate probe.

General and thick coatings: Dual-substrate straight probes FNF2000-X0, FNF5000-X0 and FNF20000-X0 offer 0–2000µm, 0–5000µm and 10–20000µm ranges respectively.

Holes and narrow gaps: FNF2000-X1 provides a right-angle, dual-substrate probe with a 0–2000µm range.

Pipe interiors and narrow grooves: F2000-X2 and NF2000-X2 offer long-rod right-angle access for ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic substrates respectively, each with a 0–2000µm range.
Data Workflow
The mobile app supports Android 7.0 and later; iOS is not supported. During app connection, measurements are managed through the app rather than stored locally in the instrument. Windows PC software retrieves records and exports data to Excel.
