CHNSpec CS-300 Series Portable Gloss Meters up to 2000GU

The CHNSpec CS-380, CS-300S and CS-300 are portable gloss meters designed for fast surface-quality inspection in coatings, plastics, printing, metal, ceramics, building materials and leather. The series combines less-than-1s measurement, simple and statistical modes, onboard data storage and a rechargeable 3000mAh battery in a compact handheld body.

Model Differences & Selection

• CS-380: Measures at 20°, 60° and 85° with ranges up to 2000GU, 1000GU and 160GU respectively. Choose it when one instrument must evaluate high-, medium- and low-gloss surfaces.
• CS-300S: Uses a 60° geometry with a compact 2×3mm measurement spot and a 0–600GU range. It is the best fit for small components, narrow areas and samples with limited test space.
• CS-300: Provides standard 60° measurement with a 9×15mm spot and 0–1000GU range. Select it for general-purpose gloss quality control on coatings, plastics, printing and similar materials.
