Aimitek Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy explains how Aimitek, our internal keyword research application, accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information.

The application is operated by SHENZHEN INSTRUMENT WORLD CHAIN SHOP CO., LIMITED, trading as AIMITEK (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Aimitek is used only by authorized AIMITEK personnel to research keywords and prepare Google Ads campaign plans for aimitek.eu. It does not provide advertising management services to external clients.

This policy applies to the application’s Google API access and keyword analysis workflow. Information collected through visits to our public website, store purchases, or customer enquiries is covered by our separate Store Privacy Policy.

2. Information accessed and collected

The application processes the following categories of information:

Account identifiers and configuration

Google Ads customer identifiers and relevant request configuration are used to identify the authorized account through which keyword planning requests are made.

Authentication information

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are used to authenticate Google Ads API requests and maintain authorized access. Application configuration also includes the credentials necessary to identify the application when making API requests.

Research inputs

Research inputs include seed keywords, product or website URLs, target locations, languages, and search network settings supplied for keyword planning requests.

Keyword planning results

Results include keyword suggestions and aggregate statistics such as average monthly search volumes, historical monthly search volumes, competition indicators, and top-of-page bid estimates.

These keyword statistics represent aggregate search and advertising information. They are not individual users’ search histories.

The application does not request Google Account passwords. Its keyword research workflow does not access Gmail messages, Google Drive documents, contacts, calendars, store customer payment information, or individual customers’ browsing histories.

3. Google authorization

Google Ads access is established through Google authentication and authorization.

The Google Ads API uses the OAuth scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords

This scope can permit broader Google Ads operations, subject to the authorizing user’s account permissions. Aimitek uses authorized access for the keyword research functions disclosed in this policy.

The application does not automatically create or modify advertisements, campaigns, bids, or budgets.

An authorizing user can revoke access as described in Section 8.

4. Purposes of processing

We use the information described above to:

  • Authenticate authorized requests to the Google Ads API.
  • Retrieve keyword ideas and historical keyword planning metrics.
  • Compare search demand and advertising competition.
  • Group and prioritize keywords relevant to AIMITEK products.
  • Prepare proposed campaign structures and advertising budget plans.
  • Support the internal keyword analysis described in Section 5.

We do not use Google user data obtained through the application to build individual consumer profiles or perform personalized advertising or retargeting.

5. Disclosure to OpenAI for Codex analysis

Authorized AIMITEK personnel submit selected keywords and aggregate keyword metrics to OpenAI through Codex for internal analysis.

The submitted information is limited to keywords and planning metrics such as search volumes, competition indicators, and bid estimates. The purpose is to organize keyword themes, assess relevance, compare opportunities, and generate campaign planning suggestions.

Google authorization files, OAuth tokens, client secrets, developer tokens, Google Ads account identifiers, and account performance reports are excluded from material submitted to Codex.

Although the keyword research application runs locally, information submitted to Codex is transmitted to OpenAI for processing. Selected analysis inputs therefore are not processed exclusively on the local computer.

OpenAI handles submissions according to the terms and data controls applicable to the account or workspace used. Its retention and data-sharing arrangements depend on the applicable service and account configuration. See OpenAI’s Codex authentication and data-handling documentation.

Our use of Codex is for task-specific analysis. AIMITEK does not use this workflow to develop, fine-tune, or train AI models.

Authorized personnel review AI-generated suggestions before using them in advertising plans.

6. Other access and disclosure

Google receives the authentication information and research inputs necessary to process Google Ads API requests.

Authorized AIMITEK personnel may access local research files and analysis outputs for the purposes described in this policy.

OpenAI receives the selected information described in Section 5.

We do not sell or rent Google user data or keyword research results. We do not publish internal research results on the public AIMITEK website or distribute them to data brokers or information resellers.

Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law.

7. Storage and security

Primary copies of research results and internal analysis files are stored on the local computer used to operate the application.

Selected inputs and related outputs may also be processed or retained through Codex under the applicable OpenAI service arrangements.

Our protection practices include:

  • Restricting access to application files and research results to authorized personnel.
  • Keeping authentication credentials separate from keyword files provided for AI analysis.
  • Excluding credentials from public webpages, public repositories, and research exports.
  • Using HTTPS for communication with Google API services.
  • Limiting submissions to Codex to the keyword information necessary for the requested analysis.

The public application information pages do not provide access to local research files, internal advertising plans, or authentication credentials.

8. Retention, deletion, and withdrawal of access

Local research data

Local research files and analysis outputs are retained while needed for the advertising planning activities for which they were created. Files that are no longer needed are deleted.

Authentication credentials

Credentials are retained while authorized API access is required. When access is discontinued, stored credentials are removed and applicable tokens or permissions are revoked.

Revoking Google authorization

An authorizing user may revoke access through the third-party connections settings of their Google Account.

Revocation prevents further access under that authorization. It does not automatically delete research files that were saved previously.

Deletion requests

To request deletion of local application data or assistance withdrawing access, contact info@aimitek.eu.

Requests should identify the application and relevant information without including passwords or authentication tokens. We may confirm the requester’s authority before acting on a request.

Information submitted to Codex

Where relevant information has been submitted to Codex, we will use available OpenAI account or workspace controls to remove associated conversations or files.

OpenAI’s retention and deletion processes remain governed by the applicable service arrangements. Deleting local files alone does not delete copies processed by OpenAI.

9. Google API Services User Data Policy

Our handling and transfer of information received through Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Access, use, and disclosure are limited to the application functions described in this policy.

If we materially change the information accessed, its purposes, or its recipients, we will update this policy before the changed processing begins and obtain any required consent or authorization.

10. Updates and contact

We will update this page when the application’s data practices change and revise the “Last updated” date.
