The OWON SPE Series is a compact single-channel programmable DC power supply for electronic development, laboratory verification, maintenance and production testing. The 150W–300W family provides 30V and 60V configurations with current capability up to 10A, allowing users to select an output range that matches the device under test.
Constant-power operation, programmable List output and voltage/current curve monitoring support more than basic DC supply tasks. The SPE Series can generate changing power sequences, record output behavior and operate through USB and SCPI, making it suitable for repetitive verification, product aging and automated test workflows.
Key Features
-
Single-channel programmable output: Apply controlled DC voltage and current to components, circuit boards and complete electronic products.
-
150W–300W constant-power models: Select the voltage, current and total power combination required by the target application.
-
10mV and 1mA setting resolution: Make controlled output adjustments during circuit development and verification.
-
List waveform output: Create programmable voltage and current sequences for startup simulation, repetitive testing and changing supply conditions.
-
Ten editable timing groups: Configure multi-stage output procedures without manually changing settings at every test step.
-
Voltage and current curve monitoring: Observe output changes over time to investigate device startup, operating behavior and load-related faults.
-
CV and CC operation: Maintain the selected voltage or current limit according to the connected load condition.
-
OVP and OCP protection: Set overvoltage and overcurrent limits to help protect the power supply and connected device.
-
Low ripple and noise: Provide stable DC output for electronics development, maintenance and laboratory measurements.
-
Intelligent fan control: Adjust cooling according to operating conditions to balance thermal management and acoustic noise.
-
Four stored setting groups: Recall frequently used configurations during repeated testing and maintenance work.
-
USB and SCPI communication: Control the supply from a computer and integrate it into automated test systems.
-
2.8-inch color display: View set values, readback values, power information and output curves from a compact bench instrument.
Model Differences & Selection
-
SPE3051: The 30V/5A, 150W configuration is suited to general circuit development, education and lower-power electronic devices.
-
SPE3102 and SPE3103: These 30V/10A models are designed for lower-voltage applications that require more current. Choose the 200W SPE3102 for moderate loads or the 300W SPE3103 when the device requires greater total power.
-
SPE6053: The 60V/5A, 300W configuration is appropriate when higher voltage is more important than 10A current capability.
-
SPE6102 and SPE6103: These models combine a 60V range with current capability up to 10A. Choose the 200W SPE6102 for moderate constant-power testing or the 300W SPE6103 for applications requiring a larger usable voltage-current operating area.
For low-voltage, higher-current devices, select a 30V/10A model. Choose a 60V model for applications requiring greater voltage headroom. Because the SPE Series uses constant-power operation, the maximum voltage and maximum current are not necessarily available simultaneously; the required operating point must remain within the selected model's rated power.
Applications
- Electronic circuit and PCB development
- Embedded-system and module testing
- Product aging and repetitive verification
- Startup and changing-supply simulation
- Production-line functional testing
- Electronic equipment maintenance and repair

Why Choose the OWON SPE Series?
The SPE Series combines programmable output, sequence generation, curve monitoring and remote control in a compact single-channel platform. It is suitable for users who need to reproduce supply conditions, monitor load behavior and automate repeated power tests rather than simply provide a fixed DC output.
