The Linshang LS161 is a portable window tint transmission meter that simultaneously measures visible light transmittance, ultraviolet rejection and infrared rejection. Its 240×240 TFT color display, selectable viewing modes and automatic screen rotation make optical results easy to interpret during solar film comparison, quality inspection and customer demonstrations.
Designed for window tint and other thin transparent samples below 0.8mm thick, the LS161 provides instant readings without complicated configuration. Its compact 70g body is convenient for film manufacturers, automotive tint installers, distributors and mobile sales personnel.
VLT, UV and IR Measurement
-
Visible light transmittance: Measures across the 380nm–760nm visible spectrum according to the CIE photopic luminosity response.
-
UV rejection: Evaluates ultraviolet blocking performance at 365nm.
-
IR rejection: Measures infrared rejection at 940nm for evaluating many absorbing window films.
240×240 TFT Color Display
The color screen presents visible light, UV and IR results with clearly differentiated graphics and progress bars. This makes film performance easier to understand at a glance and improves result presentation during customer consultations and product comparisons.
Multiple Display Modes
Users can switch between rejection-rate display, transmittance display and a dedicated visible-light transmittance view. These options allow the screen to focus on the parameters most relevant to the current test or demonstration.
Automatic Screen Rotation
The display automatically changes orientation as the instrument is rotated. Measurement results and button controls therefore remain convenient to read when the meter is used from different directions or placed between the operator and customer.
Fast Automatic Measurement
Place the film in the measurement slot and the LS161 automatically detects the sample and displays the results. With 0.1% resolution, differences between window films can be identified quickly during comparison and quality-control work.
Real-Time Dynamic Calibration
When the measurement slot is empty, the instrument automatically returns to its reference state. This real-time dynamic calibration helps maintain stable performance during repeated testing without requiring a manual reset between samples.
Data Hold Function
Press the HOLD button to retain the current readings after removing the film. The frozen values can then be recorded, compared or shown to a customer without keeping the sample inside the measurement slot.
For Thin Film Samples
The LS161 accepts samples below 0.8mm thick and is intended primarily for individual window tint, automotive film and solar-control film samples. Wider-slot instruments are more appropriate when direct measurement of laminated glass or installed automotive windows is required.
