The Linshang LS252D is a compact portable Leeb hardness tester designed for rapid on-site hardness measurement of large metal components, installed machinery and heavy workpieces. Its fully integrated design combines the Impact Device D and display controller in a lightweight pen-style body, eliminating the need for separate probes and connecting cables.
Equipped with dual-coil technology and automatic impact-direction compensation, the LS252D can perform measurements from different angles while reducing errors caused by probe orientation. It is suitable for industrial inspection, manufacturing quality control, equipment maintenance and incoming-material verification.
Integrated Impact Device D
The built-in Impact Device D is suitable for general-purpose Leeb hardness testing on polished metal surfaces, heat-treated components and applications requiring repeated measurements. The integrated construction makes the instrument easier to carry and operate in confined or difficult-to-access locations.
Automatic Direction Compensation
An internal orientation sensor automatically detects the impact direction and applies the appropriate compensation. This allows the tester to operate at different angles without requiring the user to manually select the measurement direction.
Multiple Hardness Scales and Materials
The LS252D measures Leeb hardness directly and converts results into commonly used hardness scales, including:
- HL Leeb
- HV Vickers
- HB Brinell
- HS Shore
- HRA Rockwell A
- HRB Rockwell B
- HRC Rockwell C
Built-in material selections support hardness testing of steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, forged steel, gray cast iron, ductile iron, cast aluminum alloys, brass, bronze and pure copper.
Clear OLED Display and Simple Operation
The 128×64 OLED display provides clear visibility of measurement results and operating information. Users can also recalibrate the instrument when necessary to maintain dependable performance during routine inspection work.

Workpiece Requirements
Leeb hardness testing is primarily intended for solid, heavy metal workpieces. When testing directly with the LS252D, the workpiece should have a minimum mass of 5kg and a minimum thickness of 25mm.
Smaller or lighter parts must be rigidly coupled to a stable support before testing. After proper coupling, the workpiece should have a minimum thickness of 3mm. Correct surface preparation, stable support and perpendicular probe contact are important for obtaining reliable results.
Why Choose the Linshang LS252D?
The LS252D combines an integrated Impact Device D, automatic direction compensation and multiple hardness conversions in a highly portable instrument. It is a practical choice for technicians and quality inspectors who need fast hardness checks on large metal parts without cutting samples or transporting heavy components to a laboratory.
