The OWON CMS061 and CMS101 combine a 20,000-count True RMS clamp meter, single-channel oscilloscope and mobile data recorder in one portable instrument. They allow electricians and maintenance technicians to move from numerical measurements to waveform inspection and long-term data analysis without carrying separate test devices.
The integrated oscilloscope displays voltage and current waveforms, helping identify distortion, transient behavior and operating conditions that cannot be evaluated from a numerical reading alone. Bluetooth communication with the i-meter app adds remote viewing, control, charting and CSV data storage for Android and iOS devices.
Key Features
-
Three measurement tools in one: Combine clamp-meter measurements, waveform analysis and app-based data recording in a single handheld instrument.
-
20,000-count True RMS measurement: Obtain detailed AC/DC readings from both sinusoidal and distorted electrical signals.
-
AC/DC current measurement: Measure current without opening the circuit, with model ranges extending to either 600A or 1000A.
-
AC/DC voltage up to 1000V: Perform voltage measurements across electrical equipment, installations and industrial systems.
-
Voltage waveform analysis: Use 1MHz voltage bandwidth and up to 5MSa/s real-time sampling to inspect lower-frequency electrical and control signals.
-
Current waveform analysis: Observe current waveforms with up to 1kHz bandwidth for motor, load and power-system diagnostics.
-
Automatic waveform measurements: Display RMS, period, frequency, maximum, minimum, peak-to-peak and average values.
-
Inrush current measurement: Evaluate startup current from motors, power supplies, compressors and other electrical loads.
-
i-meter recorder: View, compare, analyze and store measurement data through a compatible Android or iOS device.
-
CSV data storage: Export recorded measurements for maintenance records, reports and further computer analysis.
-
Non-contact voltage detection: Identify the presence of AC voltage before beginning direct measurements.
-
Additional multimeter functions: Measure resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, diodes and continuity.
-
2.8-inch IPS display: View numerical readings and waveforms clearly across a wide viewing angle.
-
Dual display themes: Maintain visibility in bright workshops, outdoor locations and darker equipment spaces.
-
Touch-key operation: Switch functions quickly with one hand using the front-panel touch controls.
-
Rechargeable 18650 battery: Support extended inspection and maintenance work away from a fixed power source.
Model Differences & Selection
-
CMS061 — up to 600A: Suitable for HVAC equipment, electrical installations, control cabinets, smaller motors and general industrial maintenance where current remains within 600A.
-
CMS101 — up to 1000A: Select this model for higher-current motors, main feeders, larger industrial equipment and power-distribution applications that may exceed the CMS061's 600A range.
Both models provide the same 20,000-count True RMS platform, oscilloscope, inrush measurement, Bluetooth recorder, NCV detection and mobile app functions. Choose according to the maximum AC/DC current expected in the target equipment: CMS061 for measurements up to 600A or CMS101 when coverage up to 1000A is required.
Applications

Why Choose the OWON CMS Series?
The CMS Series adds waveform visibility and recorded measurement trends to the functions of a professional True RMS clamp meter. This combination helps technicians identify electrical problems that may be missed by isolated numerical readings, while Bluetooth data recording supports remote observation, maintenance reporting and comparison of operating conditions over time.
