The RIGOL RP1300H is a fixed 100:1 passive high-voltage probe with DC–300MHz bandwidth. It is designed for ground-referenced voltage measurements in power electronics, industrial equipment, power supplies and other circuits that exceed the input range of conventional passive oscilloscope probes.
A 100MΩ input resistance reduces loading on the circuit under test, while the 1.2ns rise time preserves fast transitions and pulse details. Passive operation allows direct connection to a compatible oscilloscope without batteries or an external probe power supply.

Probe Compensation
The RP1300H can be adjusted for oscilloscope input capacitances from 10pF to 35pF. Compensation is performed using the oscilloscope’s square-wave calibration output and the supplied adjustment tool.
A correctly compensated probe preserves square-wave shape and improves amplitude and timing accuracy across the measurement bandwidth.
Compatibility and Probe Selection
The RP1300H is compatible with RIGOL digital oscilloscopes and other suitable grounded oscilloscopes with a standard BNC input and input capacitance within the specified compensation range. The oscilloscope channel should be configured for 100:1 probe attenuation.
The RP1300H is a single-ended, ground-referenced probe. It is suitable when the probe ground lead can be connected to a reliable earth-referenced circuit ground. Floating switching nodes, bridge circuits and measurements between two non-grounded points require a high-voltage differential or isolated probe.
Compared with higher-voltage 1000:1 probes, the RP1300H is intended for applications where 300MHz bandwidth and faster edge capture are more important than voltage capability above 2000V.
