The OWON HDS200 Series brings oscilloscope, digital multimeter and signal-generation capabilities together in a compact handheld platform. Designed for field service, industrial maintenance, electronics troubleshooting, education and laboratory work, the series delivers up to 200MHz bandwidth and 1GSa/s real-time sampling in an instrument that can be carried directly to the equipment under test.
Every dual-channel HDS200 model combines an oscilloscope with a 20,000-count True RMS multimeter. Selected S models add a built-in waveform generator, creating a portable 3-in-1 solution for signal acquisition, electrical measurements and circuit stimulation.

Portable Dual-Channel Oscilloscope
The HDS200 Series provides two analog input channels for comparing signals and examining relationships between different points in a circuit. Available bandwidths range from 25MHz to 200MHz, allowing users to select the performance level that best matches their testing requirements.
A waveform refresh rate of up to 10,000wfms/s improves the visibility of intermittent signal events. Normal and peak-detect acquisition modes help capture both general waveform activity and narrow signal anomalies.
Waveform Measurement and Analysis
Built-in automatic measurements provide quick access to frequency, period, amplitude, maximum, minimum, mean and peak-to-peak values. Cursor measurements support manual voltage and timing analysis, while X-Y display mode helps users examine phase relationships and component behavior.
Waveforms and instrument settings can be saved for later review, comparison and documentation. Reference waveform functionality makes it easier to compare a live signal against a previously captured result during troubleshooting or repetitive testing.

Waveform Generator on S Models
HDS200 models ending in S include a single-channel waveform generator. Most S models generate sine waves at frequencies up to 25MHz and also support square, ramp, pulse and arbitrary waveforms.
The generator offers 125MSa/s sampling, 14-bit vertical resolution and an 8kpts waveform length. Its output amplitude can be adjusted from 20mVpp to 5Vpp under high-impedance loading, providing a convenient signal source for circuit testing, teaching demonstrations and troubleshooting.
Designed for Mobile Testing
A 3.5-inch high-resolution, high-contrast color LCD provides clear waveform and measurement visibility in laboratories, workshops and outdoor environments. The protective handheld enclosure and independent input connections make the instrument well suited to field maintenance and mobile diagnostics.
Rechargeable 18650 lithium batteries provide approximately 3–6 hours of operating time, depending on the configuration and operating conditions. The USB Type-C interface supports charging from compatible adapters and power banks, allowing the instrument to remain operational away from a conventional AC outlet.
PC Connectivity and Automation
The USB Type-C interface also supports PC software communication for waveform management and remote operation. SCPI command support allows the HDS200 Series to be integrated into custom software, automated test workflows and secondary development projects.
