The RIGOL DG800 Pro Series is a 7-in-1 function and arbitrary waveform generator platform with up to 50 MHz output frequency, a maximum sample rate of 625 MSa/s and 16-bit vertical resolution. Standard arbitrary waveform memory of 2 Mpts per channel supports detailed signal creation for circuit development, education, component testing and signal simulation.
The platform combines a function generator, arbitrary waveform generator, noise generator, pulse generator, harmonic generator, analog/digital modulator and frequency counter. Sequence mode, comprehensive modulation and network-based remote control allow the DG800 Pro Series to support both interactive laboratory work and repeatable test procedures.

7-in-1 Signal Generation Platform
The DG800 Pro Series integrates the following functions into one compact instrument:
- Function generator
- Arbitrary waveform generator
- Noise generator
- Pulse generator
- Harmonic generator
- Analog and digital modulator
- Frequency counter
This combination reduces the need to move between separate signal sources and measurement devices during circuit stimulation, modulation experiments and frequency verification.
Arbitrary Waveforms and Sequence Mode
Standard memory of 2 Mpts per channel provides space for long arbitrary waveforms and detailed signal patterns. Sequence mode can arrange between 1 and 64 waveform segments, supporting multi-stage signals, changing operating conditions and repeatable functional tests.
An optional memory expansion increases the total sequence length to 8 Mpts per channel for applications requiring longer or more complex signal records.
Modulation and Harmonic Generation
AM, FM and PM support analog modulation experiments, while ASK, FSK and PSK provide digital modulation for communication and encoding tests. PWM enables pulse-width-controlled signal simulation. Internal and external modulation sources allow the generator to operate independently or respond to another instrument in the test setup.
The integrated harmonic generator supports harmonics up to the 20th order, allowing users to construct signals with controlled harmonic content for filter, amplifier and frequency-response experiments.
Independent Frequency Counter
The standard 7-digit counter measures frequencies up to 500 MHz through a dedicated input connector. Its independent signal path simplifies frequency measurement because the counter can monitor an external source while the generator outputs a separate test waveform.
Connectivity and Remote Control
USB Host, USB Device and LAN interfaces support storage, computer connection and network integration. LXI Core 2011 Device compatibility and browser-based Web Control allow users to access and operate the instrument remotely from a networked workstation.
